Dear Queenosabe,

I wanna start doing cool things with my son but my creative side I feel has faded away, got any fun cool ideas. He loves to watch hellicopters and airplanes fly over the house, I was thinking of taking him to the airport to watch the planes take off.

A new Dad

Dear Sleuthful Dad,

Going to the airport is great. Is there a good viewing area? He might need ear plugs. There is a campground right on the LA beach and right on flight path. The planes look like they are 15 feet in the air above your head. Very cool. Maybe they would let you in at reduced rate to watch for a while.

A slow walk in a woods or forest is wonderful. He could feel leaves and the bark of trees. And he could feel and smell nice loamy soil. Wonderful. Anything he can feel is just great. expands his world. Watch out for poison ivy and poison oak.

An art gallery. I know it sounds silly but you could point out shapes and colors and it doesn't cost as much as a museum. He would love it. If there are sculptures they would let you touch it would be great.

You get the idea. Anything he can look at and/or touch is great.

Also, don't forget smells. Take him through a department store and let him sniff the sample perfumes. Or go to a bakery and let him smell fresh bread. Very nice!

Go to a fish store and let him watch tropical fish swimming. You don't have to pay and you can leave quicker. Remember his attention span is about an inch long.

Please let me know how it goes. VERY interested!

Love,

Queenosabe

I like the way your site is looking. I do think some might find difficult to move around to the various pages. I find the art work excellent and your page with quotations very interesting.

I must admit that all art work that you see is mine alone, the pictures of Queenosabe and Kidosabe and all the work on Queenosabe's art. Thank you for asking. The photographs were taken on trips in our van. See Vantrippin.com
